Description: 

Batch #5 of Tom's Foolery Applejack consists of 5 full barrels and several gallons from Barrel 78.  The oldest barrel in the batch was over 3 1/2 years aged!   Applejack is not your Grandmas drink, unless your Grandma drinks quality whiskey. Our Applejack is not sweet and consists only of apples, water and yeast, fermented and double disitlled then set to age in our unheated rackhouse.  You can smell the apples on the nose.  The taste is smooth with a little heat (it is 90 proof, you know!) and you get hints of vanilla from its time in the barrels.  This batch was aged in New charred American oak, used charred american oak, cognac barrels from France and white wine barrels from Markko Vineyards in Ashtuabula, Ohio.  Spectacular!
